Updates and Temple Square

Lets see.. I think the weirdest thing right now is only have one more semester of high school left. THANK HEAVENS!

I feel so old, and grown up. I cant decide if its a good thing or a bad thing.

I am however, very excited about this christmas season.

Putting up the tree was so much fun, and it looks so good.

I just love all the christmas songs, and the lights, and the feelings of joy, and kindness around the holidays. It makes me very happy. I just wish I could be around all my family for christmas.

That would make it the best christmas ever!

Yesterday I went up to Temple Square for Young Women's.

I couldn't leave without my camera, so here are some pictures from it. It was so beautiful.

Birthday and New Moon

I cant believe I am 18.

Its the weirdest feeling in the world.

Well it started out to be the best birthday ever because New Moon came out.

So i stood in line with Jessica. and saw it at midnight. :]] It was AMAZING.

After I went home and went to bed because I still had to get up and go to school the next day.

After school I went to In and Out Burger for the first time. It was fun.

I got a New Moon shirt. and I love it. :]

Youth Conference.

Last Monday I dyed my hair blonde again. yess. finally.

it needed it really bad. so im glad I was able to do that.

School starts on the 20th, and I need to get my senior pictures taken.

That is why I went back blonde. :]

Yesterday I got back from Youth Conference.

It was sooo much fun.

Our theme was M.A.S.H.

Modern Armies Serving Heaven.

and we did all kinds of army things.. even waking up to exercise.

We had an obsticale course and I managed to get a few scratches.

but Im pretty sure everyone did. so its okay.

Then we floated down the river.

Yeaaah. i am super scratched. and my butt is bruised from all the rocks.

but it was definately worth it.

We went on a sunrise hike the last day we were there, and had a testimony meeting.

it was so beautiful and nice. we were on the top of the mountain. AMAZING.

We even had a Youth conference after party.

It was soooo much fun. Im glad we have a small enough ward we can do lots of fun things. :]

Updates

Well. its been awhile since I have written anything. So I thought I would update everyone whats going on in Utah!
It's been summer. school is out, and not much has happened. Ha.
Since Brandon and I broke up, I have actually gone on a few dates. Its been fun dating other people, but weird at the same time. It is my first time going on dates with more then one person. A new experience for me indeed.
Last week I went to Girls Camp, it was really fun, and I feel like I got closer to all the girls, especially McKinlee. I have also managed to go to church 2 weeks in a row, and I went to YW last night. Im proud of myself. :]]
Im really hoping to be able to get to do more things this summer, and find a job, I need one.

The Snake :[[

Tuesday I went to Brandon's nothing new right? Brandon and I decided to go for a walk, it is so pretty by his house I have wanted to so bad. We were in his room and we were about to leave when he grabs his spear... I asked him what it was for and he said, "To kill any snakes if we see any" and I was like whaaat? no we are not going. hahaha. typical me. Well he assured me that we wouldn't see any, so we proceeded.

His mommy opened the gate so we could go down in the field by his house. I wouldn't move. He was getting very frustrated with me. haha. I don't like snakes and i surely didn't want one at my feet. He again assured me that if there is one, he will see it first and kill it with his spear. Still didn't take away my fear.. :[[ So we proceeded to walk..

All of a sudden what was at my foot and I almost stepped on.. This HUUUGE FREAKING SNAKE. I jumped so far ahead of me. I was so scared. Brandon of course Stabbed it. But I was still so scared, I started crying. Of course Brandon thought it was sooo funny, and started laughing at me. I told him i wanted to go back, and he said it would be okay, but I made him carry me back up to the house. HAHA. :]]

We get back to the fence and his mom was still outside so she asked what happened, cuz he went back to "get his spear" So I told her the story, and then he comes back up, with the snake on the end of his spear. EW. before he came in the gate he cut off the snakes head. um. gross. made me
feel a little better, but still freaking gross.

He takes the snake up to the drive way, and he spreads it out. It was so long, it was gross. So I walked back in the house to get a drink, snakes are so gross. His little sister Breanna came out and said that its mouth had opened. Remember, the head is not attached to its body. Gross huh. I walk back outside and the mouth of the snake was open. I was staring at it and all of a sudden it closed. EW. I freaked. hahaha.

Not only did the mouth open, but the whole body was still moving, why I have no idea, but it was pretty gross, if you ask me. haha. Brandon kept poking it and it would flinch and it would move even though it had been dead for at least 15 min.. I took a video of it, cuz i had his camera. Ill post them soon if you wanna see them. It was cool but so disgusting ya know? hahaha.
The worst part is like an hour later his brother Grant went and looked at it, and it was still freaking moving. AN HOUR LATER. It was so nasty.

I really really really hate snakes, and i could have gone my whole life without that experience, but it happened. But it gave me a good story to post, that's good right? :]

School..Half Birthday.. and Day Care.

There are 2 days left that I have to go to school.. Yaaay.
Although it doesnt really seem like its summer time yet. Well weather yes. But it doesnt seem like school is over. Its weird.
I guess it has not hit me yet. poop. :[ I'm looking forward to sleeping in though, but im not looking forward to the being stuck at home completely bored with nothing to do all day. It really suucks. Oh well though. Life goes on, haha.

Yesterday was my half birthday. Yay 6 months and im 18 baaby. That's craaazy. I can't believe it. Im growing up.. scary. huh mom? hahaha. I got 3 new shirts yesterday too. One is yellow, I dunno why but I like yellow things now, its weird. I got a white one with stuff on it, and I also got a white jacket thingy to go over all my tank tops. woot woot. :]

So today since it was my last day in my adult roles class, we had a day care thing. So I brought miss Amanda to my first period to be my day care buddy. I guess that's what you could call her. Since my teacher Mrs. Cox knows are family pretty well, and is Wendy's Aunt she came and talked to me and Amanda about the family. She said something about Wendy to Amanda, then said something about Bella and Amanda didn't realize that she ment her cousin Bella so when Mrs Cox said it, Amanda said, "I have a cousin named Bella" it was sooo cute. :] Amanda got to paint, and make play dough, and play in water with fishy's and made other crafts. I think she had fun. I know I sure did. :]

One Year Anniversary

Yesterday, May 7th was mine and Brandon's one year anniversary.
Its crazy to me that it has seriously been a whole year since we have been dating. He has been my longest boyfriend, and I love every minute im with him. He is my everything. Well Lets get back to what happend. haha.

So after school, I came home and had to wake him up. Then I waited for him to come get me. We were planning on going to the mall. His mom dropped us off there, first we went to dinner at red robin. yummy. We were both very hungry, thats why we went first.
After dinner we went to go look for a present for me, and then something for him. He bought me a new ring, it was 10 dollars, but it is so cute, and pretty, I love it. After he bought me that we went to a shoe store, and I totally thought we were gonna get me some new heels because we both love them. haha. yeaaah. for once thats not what we got. I actually got a pair of tennis shoes. They are so comfortable and not like other shoes. Holy crap. I wore them today, and I almost didnt feel like I was wearing shoes. thats how amazing they were. :]
After buying my shoes, we went to find him something. We didnt look very long because there was not very much he wanted that was at the mall.. It was about time for our movie, we went and saw obsessed.
It was a good movie, they put it together really well, but oh my gosh, it pisses you off the whole entire movie, until the end. It really cool, and they ended it very well. I liked it. Except being pissed the whole time. hahaha.
When the movie was over, my baby had to go to work so his mom came and brought him his stuffs, and then we went to drop him off at work..

Well since Susan (his mom) and I were the only ones in the car after he got out, she said I could come sit up front, So I got out of the car and when I was getting in the truck, there was the thing to grab onto when your like getting in or out, and it kinda sticks out on the side, and I was not really paying attention up there, since I was watching my feet cuz I was in heels, I didnt want to slip. I hit my shoulder on the thing you grab onto, it was really really funny, and I just started laughing. Hahahaha.

It was a really fun night, I loved it. I really can't believe its been this long, Im grateful that it has though. :]

Prom

On April 25th, Brandon took me to prom. :]

He really didn't want to go, but I just went and bought a dress and told him he was taking me.. yeaah what a nice girlfriend. haha. He came over and we took a few pictures,Then we went to dinner at the chef's table. yuuum. :]

We went to the school to get our picture taken since it was pretty much the only reason I wanted to go. Finally we went to the dance. After a few minutes of sitting there a slow song came on, Yay. Second and last reason I wanted to go to prom. It was cute because the song was one of our songs. It made me really happy.

We left the dance early, since neither of us are much dancers, hahaha. So we went and got a movie from the red box. Exciting I know. Then we went back to my house and sat in the driveway, and talked. When we were ready to go to my sister Jessica's house we went inside. My mom came out to drive us down there, and the car wouldn't start.. bummer. Jessica had to come and pick us up, but its okay it was fun. When we got to Jessica's house we took a few more pictures.. After those we watched the movie, Step Brothers. It was pretty funny. The movie got over at like 2. We didn't end up taking Brandon home until almost 3:30. Crazy.

On the way home Jessica and I just talked and caught up on life, we ended up staying up until 7 in the morning. It was a very long night. It was fun an definitely worth it. :]
